We have so many great memories etched in our hearts from growing up in Nairobi. We remember running to the kiosks to buy delicacies such as kashata, Goody Goody’s, mabuyus, and ice lollies. Remember the chilli mangoes during mango season? Or the mahindi choma (roasted maize) smothered with lemon, chilli, and salt? Such fun times.

As life unfolded, we found ourselves miles away from home, longing for those familiar flavors. This longing ignited a quest to discover desserts around the world. Now, we've returned home to recreate our childhood by adding twists to the desserts we've encountered.
